Robot Damashii (Side EVA) Eva Unit-01 Awakening Version (Tamashii Web Exclusive) Review

Here we are again.

Yui found out Shinji was left in the move, so, the museum is now a crater.

We did manage to fish out a cameraman just prior though, so while Yui is pissy, lets get her some limelight.

Eva Unit-01 Awakened is pretty much a god from what I understand of the movie. Wiped the floor with the Angel of Strength, nearly ended humanity, and was stabbed in the back by a pretty boy.

I did say “spoilers” right? Ah well, you shouldn’t be here if you havn’t atleast watched Evangelion 2.22 You Can (Not) Advance. If not, stop reading and go watch. I can wait.

Welcome back everyone, thank you for visiting Sarge’s Figure Museum!

We’ve just finished the newest exhibit and fished a new cameraman out of the tank.

Today we have a review of big mama herself. The dreaded purple people eater! The only being that made Shinji a badass. The key to the end of the world! Evangelion Unit-01, Yui Ikari! So, sit back, relax, don’t feed the Eva’s, no petting, and no messing with Shinji on today’s tour. We’d like to keep our building in one piece, so unfortunately our “Throw Rocks at Shinji” exhibit has been closed for the day.

Everyone understand the rules? Good, now then lets get underway with our review of the Robot Damashii Evangelion Unit-01. I will call this figure by either Eva-01 or Yui, depending on how the mood strikes me. No you don’t get a say in this, when you start paying for your tickets to the Museum, then you can have a say. Hello! Welcome back to Sarge’s Figure Museum! We have a very special tour for everyone to walk through today. Here in the Moon Wing of the museum, we have Figma Rei Ayanami.

Now, we have hired a brand spanking new cameraman for our tour, he IS being paid this time. In coffee, cigarettes, and small cat trinkets.

Everyone keep their limbs within the confines of the cart, and be sure to fasten your seatbelts. Yui-sama has been having a very bad day today and I hate having to do the paperwork to explain why we have to clean up blood stains. Buckled? good!
